    Pros

Excellent benefits, Company values work life balance, value employee health and offer incentives. Team environment lots of potential and room for growth in different directions. Global company in all respects. In my experiences - Excellent management/supervisors, competitive salaries. Good people to work with.

    Cons

Too much emphasis on moving jobs to India. Too much growth too quickly in multiple areas causing glitches and pain for employees. Still utilizing M&A as strategy to increase bottom dollar which adds to employee base all the while laying off long term, loyal employees

    Advice to Management

Slow down the M&A and try investing those dollars in your current employee base. Adding new employees through M&A while simultaneously laying off many others because you move those jobs across the globe to lower cost communities may save Willis money, but it does not help the newly unemployed casualties of those moves or economies in the communities in which you are trying to build a foothold and rapport.

    Pros

Awesome colleagues - people are truly friends with each other and go out of their way to help each other. Strong work/life balance - I work fewer hours here than the other brokerage firms I've been at. If you're entrepreneurial, lots of room to run with good ideas. Complete lack of micromanagement and direct access to office leadership. Fun Chicago office culture, good activities, carrier events, etc. Opportunities to transfer departments or offices

    Cons

Training needs to be improved. If you need constant direction, this is not the place for you. Resources could be better - though they are improving them rapidly.

    Advice to Management

Improve associate training, communicate more frequently to associates

    Pros

The company is committed to a decent work-life balance and offers a comprehensive benefit package. Local management is great. Very committed to clients and doing the right thing.

    Cons

The benefits are a bit on the expensive side and there is no tuition reimbursement. It can be a bit bureaucratic and would be nice if more decisions were delegated to the local level.
