    Many good people work here. executive leadership seems great but has stopped getting out into the filed very often

    Cons

    very departmentalized, middle management worries mostly about holding onto their jobs and not getting laid off. Company feels like its putting iyself up for sale.

    Pros

    Pay is decent and comparible to other TELCO's. The local techs make the work enviroment better.

    Cons

    Will not put money back into infastructure. 90 percent of equipment is 10 years outdated

    Spend some money or EVERYONE will be without a job

    Pros

    Communication within the orginazation
    good people
    Room for growth if you are in one of the major locations

    Cons

    Company Culture seems lost. Rolled out new Culture but management did not practice what they preached.
    To many reorgs. Constantly changing the organization, employees can barely get use to one org before the next shift comes along.
    Departments tend to do a lot of finger pointing.

    Good Job security and great coworkers.

    Cons

    The company has rushed the integration of Paetec into the Windstream network causing some real gaps in documentation and procedures.

    The company downsized and they never mentioned anything to prepare anyone

    Pros

    When I started here in 2008, It was pretty great. The morale was up, the "magnys" (commission) was both easily attainable and worth the headache of dealing with irate customers all day..

    Cons

    Then one day, Upper Management changed, and that was all she wrote. What used to be a fairly managed unit turned into a MICRO-managed Jail! If you found yourself on a call for more than five minutes doing everything you can to help the customer, Here comes an IM "You Okay?" followed by an email telling you to "watch your hold/wrap." They drive "Quality" when it comes to dealing with the customers, yet don't really show "quality" to the reps..

    Please, For the love of GOD, and his son JESUS CHRIST...Stop making us squeeze blood out of a turnip and FIX THE INTERNET!
