    Pros

Great Software and very well designed.
    Great vision of the CEOs.
Most customers are very happy and truly satisfied.

    Cons

    Difficulties to have internal mobilities
Favoritism not based on achievement or performance
Managers prioritize their own careers internally
    Overtime is the standard
Rigid Processes : Even in emerging market it is not a Startup (as often said to explain the overtime requirement), you have very rigid internal processes that you must follow in every departments

    Advice to Management

Workday Culture internally is not applyed everywhere and it is very armfull to people.
Stop thinking you are a startup, Workday is 10 years now and need to think as a mature company with internal mobility and career path for all not only management.

    Pros

    - great technology
    - good vision
    - good and ever evolving brand

    Cons

    - lacking cultural diversity. All wisdom seems to come from the US/HQ with little room for regional differences and understanding of different local markets
    - earning potential and secondary benefits
    - overly populated with former Oracle/Peoplesoft/SAP employees who copy and paste their culture.

    Advice to Management

    - diversify strategy to local markets
    - create own culture, do not copy culture of your competitors

    Pros

Great Company to Work For - they look for ways to engage employees. Dave Duffield promotes excellent culture in his companies. We work hard and play hard together.
Terrific Leadership: thought leadership is good, but the president and the CEO differ in their perspectives on employees
Great Products- we have visionary people leading us on technology and applications
Seasoned Sales force - We've hired some of the most creative and intelligent people around

    Cons

I work in excess of 80 hours each week, and am still behind
I get top performance reviews, but I haven't had a raise in 3 years; I now have individual contributors making more money than I do
Company promotes collaboration, but then implements incentive policies designed to hinder it
Still very much a man's world. Very few women in senior leadership roles, and often feels like a "boys club"

    Pros

Focus on customers is world class along with product offering. Most customers are very happy and truly satisfied.

    Cons

Sales cycles are very long and limited. Too many salespeople chasing too few opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Align sales territories so that the majority of sales representatives feel they have a solid chance to make their quota. Dissatisfaction among salespeople is high due to limited opportunities for success.

    Pros

Good product team and expand rapidly. People there are very nice in general.

    Cons

No career development. Manager doesn't appreciate hard working. Management is not professional. Inherited Peoplesoft culture although they don't want to label like that. Very fake. Low pay!

    Pros

The Generation Workday program does a good job of bringing in top talent and grooming them to be the future faces of the company. For what I do at the company, I found the pay to be great, coming out of school. The company is growing, so they are adding benefits all the time. Nice free gym membership.

    Cons

In certain roles, you can be stretched thin a times. Workday emphasizes fun and friendship as being important to the overall culture, but It can be more attainable to some than others.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your employees and paving the way for great enterprise SaaS!

    Pros

Flexible work schedule. Open to working from home and there are lots of employees who work remotely from home offices 100% of the time.
Lots of employee "perks" and and fun contests.
Promote healthy lifestyle with health club discounts, brown bag seminars etc…
Product is great and getting even better.

    Cons

1st/2nd level managers are still doing an individual contributor jobs and thus aren't effective leaders or communicators
A lot of managers seem to be people who have just "been there a long time" not necessarily people who are true leaders. Manager Leadership training would be a huge help here.
Career path isn't obvious nor discussed.
    PTO lags behind other companies.

    Advice to Management

Offer training to your managers so they are more skilled at leading effectively.
