I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast paced environment, you'll never be bored. Every day brings new challenges.

    Cons

People looking for a slow and steady environment will struggle here. There is process, but anyone who cannot switch directions/priorities on the fly may not be comfortable here.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing comes to mind.

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment as a contractor

    Pros

Love WWE's practice and commitment to the development of internal employees! The WWE Recruitment and HR teams care about the employees, internal clients, candidates, and their experiences. They have a true passion for hiring quality candidates to build the best teams to drive the best business. WWE is not concerned about just hiring to fill a job, as they want the business and new employees to succeed- a win for all!

    Cons

There is opportunity to further develop the interaction between management and talent with the remaining organization.

I worked at World Wrestling Entertainment as an intern

    Pros

WWE treats their interns as regular employees and interacts with managers and directors daily. I was able to work across multiple departments and gain different positive experiences with each one.

    Cons

Can't think of any cons to interning at WWE. Everyone I worked with and around seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. I enjoyed my experience and time at WWE and would recommend the opportunity to other students.

    Pros

fun, meet a lot of people, you get to learn new experiences and do different things like cashier, greeter, runner, floor

    Cons

the cons were fast paced, angry customers, not being able to solve problems that were out of my control and getting blamed by the customers for it

    Advice to Management

my only advice is to keep doing what you're doing because you guys provide a safe and fun work place and I would definently love to work with them again

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

WWE is a great place to work if you’re looking to advance your career, be challenged on a daily basis and work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Employees are rewarded and recognized for their hard work. There's also a great sense of accomplishment among employees. It's a great feeling knowing you're making a real impact to the business.

    Cons

Work/life balance is definitely something that’s difficult to manage.

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are a fan like I am, it's a pretty awesome experience interning at WWE. The people are extremely nice and you wear a number of different hats depending on your department.

    Cons

None besides the fact that it wasn't paid. I would've preferred to work full-time and have it be paid as opposed to 20 hours and no pay.

    Advice to Management

Didn't deal with upper management too much, but I would advise to make yourselves more available to subordinates. I've heard the work-life balance is tough, but I didn't experience that as a part-time Intern.

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Talented/passionate employees. Really generous benefits. Great overall culture.

    Cons

Perception we are only a "wrestling" company. True leadership not valued-- the people closest to Vince are highly political and are self-serving. Communications from the highest levels is sporadic (we never hear directly from Vince, Michelle Wilson or George Barrios)

    Advice to Management

Have to do a better job of bringing people on the journey. We believe in what we are doing but we get more information from the dirt sheets and Yahoo Finance than anything from our internal communications.
