I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The work environment is very inspirational, everyone helps each other with issues with members and certain situations. The staftt, supervisors and departmnent leaders all pull for one another.

    Cons

The base pay is low, but that provides the incentive to sell more productions, vacations, points protection, memberships, etc. The compensation per each production is low, but if you become a high volume producer you can make 70K and up to 100K.

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time

    Pros

Very well organized company. The hiring process took a while but once I was hired, the orientation and training was asap. The entire department is like a well oiled machine, everything runs smoothly. A lot of teamwork and they always make sure they express how well you are doing. Everyone is very helpful; and just overall happy to be at work. Managers are always available to help and very friendly.

The benefits are great as well, and not as pricey as other companies. There are alot of growth opportunities, activities, in-house clinic, gym, and clubs to join. They truly converted the workplace into a resort for employees, which makes us more efficient and happy to work our hardest.

    Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great work and we can see why this company is so successful.

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Helping families to stay in 5 star resorts and to go on vacations they normally wouldn't go on all the while earning a great income with full benefits!

    Cons

Easy to get dragged down by negativity. Lots of rejection you need to move past to give each presentation an equal chance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When someone gets caught up in the negativity or into a slump, rather then a general pep talk to everyone in the morning meetings, sit down with the rep and find out what motivates them and remind them why they are there, what they are working for before they end up walking away from the job. In conclusion, implement things to increase the companies retention rate of employees such as NO DRAW for the first 30 days or increase the flat salary (draw) from $250 for reps and $500 for managers by $250 and have NO DRAW on half for the first 30 - 60 days while reps and new managers adjust to their new position/job. It took me 3 months before I was able to figure out my presentation and become comfortable with it, however i did earn over $100,000.00 my first full calendar year.

I have been working at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

In comparison to working with Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Wyndham Worldwide truly is an office with unbeatable amenities. There is a gym that supplies towels, shampoo and conditioner, a cafeteria, game room, meditation room, nursing room,a nurse that works on site Monday- Friday. There are vendors that often set up by the cafeteria that allows you to do a little shopping on you lunch break. Also, a mini convenience store that sells your basic bread, milk, eggs and Boars Head cold cuts, candy and much more. Did I mention, tuition reimbursement and a great health benefits.

    Cons

I have not encounter any cons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been luckily to have great management and I believe the "one on one" talks really help.
