    Pros

No two days are ever the same. You interface with different clients every day. For the most part you manage your own schedule.

    Cons

Pay raises have been few and far between. The company is constantly having reductions in force. Cost of benefits is always rising

    Advice to Management

My advice is to always remember that your employees are what make the company. Try to treat them as you would want to be treated. Most managers at Xerox understand this and try hard to make it happen

    Pros

Great co-workers, leadership is actually interested in what "type" of work want to do within the department, if fulltime advancement is possible if you work hard.

    Cons

Work in a non-call center environment, but your time is tracked as if you are. Hourly employees are considered late if your are 1 minute late. Pay is low.

    Advice to Management

Pay more, be more flexible with employees time if they are not logged into a phone system.

    Pros

Easy job to get and they make sure you have the knowledge before you get to the call center floor.

    Cons

Could have a better way of scheduling, also training can be very very boring.

    Advice to Management

Get better simulations for entry training.

    Pros

Many good people working hard and trying to service the customers as best they can. Pay is OK although raises and bonuses are for the execs, not the workers. If you have a good manager or are on a good team you could get the chance to make a mark. Good name for your resume.

    Cons

Top-heavy and living on reputation. Outsourcing and layoffs are crippling morale, yet it seems there are many people coasting. Communication is inconsistent. If you have a lame manager you're sunk.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the front lines - they're the ones who know the truth about what the customers really want and how they really feel about the company. Share the wealth.

    Pros

Project I was working on was decent, and the people were friendly. There are new and exciting projects happening if you know what position to look for.

    Cons

Too much oversees and contract employment . They are far past there glory days of the past. At least they didn't go under like kodak. Pay could have been better.

    Advice to Management

Need to get back philosophy's that made them great in the first place. Also move the headquarters back to Rochester NY like they should be instead of having them in CT for tax reasons.

    Pros

A B C compensation plan -- base+commission -- depending on the section you work in. Occasionally easy work.

    Cons

Training is not very hands on so it's kind of hard when you're put on the floor, supervisors running like chickens without a head.
