    Pros

    Cutting edge technology
    Smart people

    Cons

Not a stimulating environment. Most of the people are reclusive and do not talk.
Many lab offer salary below NIH minimum scale as Yale has its own minimum (lower than NIH payscale)
Majority of PIs are busy and do not care about your career

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please follow NIH minimum guideline for post doc salary.

I have been working at Yale University

    Pros

Benefits, christmas and new years off.

    Cons

Extremely understaffed with management, at least in certain departments. 2-4 jobs being covered by one person, with constantly higher performance expectations. Set up for failure. No personal life because you're trying to do so many jobs and constantly under pressure.
