I have been working at Yale University part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary is higher than in most higher education institutions and management is happy and well paid. New Haven isn't the most beautiful city but campus is gorgeous and safe.

    Cons

New Haven is not the liveliest city for a young person. NYC is only a train ride away but nightlife is scarce.

I have been working at Yale University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

High student minimum wage, nice and friendly people. Never experienced any difficulties during the two years I was employed. Would recommend to anyone!

    Cons

Kind of a pain to get to and from work - the shuttles are not always the most reliable, but they do a decent job. New Haven gets quite cold in the winter, so be prepared for that.

Yale has a lot of resources for students, and great professors, labs, and other people. It is a very unique place in all that it offers and really allows students the opportunity to grow and learn a lot about themselves and the world.
