    Pros

The pay at Zara is better than a lot of other retail stores and there is a lot of room for growth within the company.

    Cons

A lot of work is thrown at one employee, and if you're working as a cashier in Men's department your job involves many more responsibilities than your average cashier.

    Advice to Management

Plenty of help is needed and sometimes the amount of associates is unreasonable.the company should reconsider promoting even if you are not full time.

    Pros

good work environment, nice coworkers, good hours. Unlike other clothing stores, you will not be stuck all night spacing hangers. There is room for growth in company

    Cons

Management can be difficult and childish. Do not discuss anything with HR unless you are ready to explain it to management

    Advice to Management

HR needs to restudy their role in company

    Pros

They pay 10.50 which isn't bad for a retail store. They also train you for 2 weeks.

    Cons

I go to school full time and they would always put me to close. They were not flexible with hrs.

    Advice to Management

You should be more considerate of your employees.

    Pros

Greats opportunities to grow up in the company of you work hard

    Cons

There is not team , lazy co-workers ,the actual GM of the store Treats you like a slave and has racial preference with some employees ( at least what we can notice ) Dont ever do overtime and always check your hours if you are thinking about working there because they used to delete or fix your hours so they won't be over the budget and you of course don't get paid for that

  9. Not suitable for a full-time student

    Pros

Nice and friendly coworkers and managers
    Great clothing and many sales
Easy to get hired even with no or little experience
1 hour break if you work more than 6 hours
Decent hourly pay + group commission and if you have no children and/or school and/or a second job then this job would be suitable since they give you many hours and full shifts per week, which is pretty good money.

    Cons

Large store, so work can be stressful at times
Discount (15%) is a bit low
Difficult to find a specific employee since store is so big
Management can be disorganized with scheduling and constantly changes schedules every week or even several times a week, which can affect your plans greatly
Very bad work/school/life balance if you're a full-time student. At least with my location, they prefer employees to work full shifts on their days with no school (12-9pm, 1-10pm, 2-10pm, etc) and work 4-5 shifts per week. I am a full-time student and I was unable to work 5 shifts a week because it would leave me NO time to finish my assignments, so I had to quit unfortunately.. So if you're a full-time student, it's best if you look for a place that allows you to work shorter shifts per day/fewer shifts per week.

    Advice to Management

Try to be a little more understanding and flexible with scheduling with employees who go to school full-time and can't work too many shifts per week and hours per day

    Pros

Pay was decent for me at the time. Averaged about 30 hours a week. Management was positive, for the most part. They were flexible with schedules.

    Cons

The work was mundane. Some days the shipments were overwhelming. Also, you were on your feet for the entire workday.
