I have been working at Zen Internet full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Free fruit and massage and coffee

    Cons

I have only worked there for just over a year. If I knew what kind of a company Zen was, I would have never left my previous employer. Management thing that they own your ass as soon as you join the company. They can say and do as they please, like it or lump it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Refrain from getting management training from "Hitlers school of management". Be more professional, like the larger companies you so desperately are trying to become

PS: The guy who left the positive review, works in Zen Human Resources

I have been working at Zen Internet full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, some great people work here
    Relaxed attitude
A customer base that believe the hype and that the service is top notch
Free fruit, orange and massages (in theory; good luck getting any of those as they go quickly)
    Foosball table
    Decent pay and benefits

    Cons

Little opportunity to move from set roles
Minimal approach to learning and development
    Very backwards looking management
Long term staff do very little; bare minimum required to keep jobs
Very much a "pass the parcel" approach to problems. It's always someone else's fault.
    Very much a "boys club"
Rochdale is not a nice place to visit; cars get broken into
Reliant on third party to provide services

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut back staff numbers and accept that the firm will never be huge. Do something about the "not my fault" culture.
