I have been working at Zions Bank

    Pros

    Loyal management
    Strong culture of acceptance
Making changes on systems for more efficiencies

    Cons

To date software systems have been old.
The bank is just big enough to fit into the 'too big to fail' group. Thus, the regulation is very demanding for a relatively small bank.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to make the hard decisions for the long term benefit of us younger generation.

I worked at Zions Bank part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great Work environment, good pay and benefits. Employees are generally very happy and like what they do, which causes a healthy and happy workplace environment. Very impressed by the company and leadership as a whole. People care about their job and truly like what they do.

    Cons

It is a big corporation so you often can feel like a fish in the ocean. I truly do not have much bad to say at all for this company. I truly don't have cons to discuss.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership and upper management is truly amazing. I would only say to maybe integrate with the general population of the company. Streamlining more company interactions.

I worked at Zions Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Management cares. Bank holidays. Loan rates for employees is good. Co-workers are great to work with.

    Cons

Health insurance. I thought there were more cons than this, so I left. I've come to realize, there are very few cons to working for Zions Bank.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I left for the "family" culture of a major credit union in Utah. Boy was that a big mistake. I wish I could go back. I may be able to in the future, but the right job will have to open up. The credit union is less customer service oriented than Zions Bank is. Bad move on my part. After seeing another CEO at work, Scott Anderson is an amazing CEO. The best around.

I worked at Zions Bank as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The environment at Zions Bank has been my favorite. The people are friendly and everyone is willing to help out. There are some very talented people working within Zions Bank, and moving up at this company will reap many benefits.

    Cons

I was just an intern, so I didn't find many cons with this particular job. Getting a full time offer with them would be great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more opportunities for people to create growth within this company.
