    Pros

Great people, fun environment, and never a dull day. A company that has experienced rapid growth over the past decade, and has opened the doors to many opportunities.

    Cons

Management tends to play favorites. Not the best of strategies, especially when it comes to retaining talented people. When promotions and benefit increases find their way to those who have not achieved or contributed nearly that much as others around them, problems surface.

    Advice to Management

    Reward merit....not suck-ups.

    Pros

You have an opportunity to meet and impact growing adults in customers and employees and meet some of your best friends and future loved ones.

    Cons

It is retail, it pays like retail no matter your position unless you're in a regional and up position. It's long hours and a lot of travel. Biggest con is loving a job and working harder than most managers in other industries but not getting paid for it.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what you really want and what juice is really worth the squeeze and draw the line

    Pros

Fun / fast paced / room for growth
You get to work in a fun fast paced environment. If your into action sports you will feel like your at home.

    Cons

low pay / over worked for amount of pay / very unorganized.
You get payed peanuts for the amount of work and responsibilities. Because of the low pay .. you have to end up hiring a young kids with no expericnce.

    Advice to Management

You always hear upper management talking about being clear and transparent. But you always feel like your in the dark as a store manager.

    Pros

Company, experience, training, benefits, handed a lot of responsibility with the ability to do the job,

    Cons

Pay, hours, commission, they don add up to the amount of time, determination and blood we've poured into rising in the company.

    Advice to Management

Because you say we get bonuses does not mean they're worth it.

    Pros

relaxed environment, fun people, good customer service experience

    Cons

low pay, few hours, no room for advancement, people steal sales, sales need to be too aggressive

    Advice to Management

Employees cannot expect to sell something to every single person that walks into the store.

    Pros

great discounts -up to 50% off based on performance
base plus commission- make more then the people that don't work
fun atmosphere and great team dynamic
top 1000 employees flown to a big party in Keystone, CO annually
easy to advance if you're willing to do your job and relocate

    Cons

low pay (14.00 for a store manager)
targeted at young 20-somethings who still live with mom or dad or 8 roomates
some managers don't take any responsibility- pass it on to everyone else (do as i say not as i do) like i said, not all are like this
unrealistic goals (if the store overall isn't making numbers you can lose your job even if you are performing about company given personal sales expectations)

    Advice to Management

treat everyone fairly (it's not high school, it's a job)
give realistic goals (ie. company goal ios 175 dollars/hour, yours is 360/hr) realistic, right?
some district sales managers need to get to all store in district- should have more then 2 visits in a 1 year period

  11. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the workplace but pay was just not enough to sustain a healthy and adventurous lifestyle.
