    Pros

Ample vacation time. Climate controlled facility. Advancement opportunities for some employees. Ability to move to different departments. Seasonal incentives like gift certificates and free merchandise.

    Cons

Absolutely horrible managers that are incompetent, often not qualified and could care less about their employees. Powerless supervisors and team leaders who frequently have their jobs threatened when they try to take a stand for their team members. Unpredictable work hours.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so callus and selfish. You often don't know what you are doinh. So trust your supervisors, team leaders and staff. Work with then instead of against them. Things will be more productive and flow better without you being so micromanaging.

    Pros

Health care benefits, pick your hours, no real supervision (can fool around all day)

    Cons

Poor leadership, management, direction and backbone.

    Advice to Management

Don't go through the motions, believe in it and follow through. If you can't do it, step aside.

    Pros

My co-workers and supervisor are great. Co-workers generally pull togeather as a team. Shift supervisor is professional, yet personable. He cares about his employees as much as he does his "numbers". He understands the concept of human capital. Benefits are fantastic.

    Cons

The pay is ridiculously low for how hard we work, and is below nearly all the competitors. Different departments work as well together as the jews and palastonians. Computer equipment breaks down often. Upper management is aloof and their expectations are unrealistic due to inadequate staffing, supplies and constant change of directions. Definitely operates as a good ole boys club.

    Advice to Management

Get over yourself. You are not the only one with a college degree. Have some empathy for the workers on the front lines. Listen and have faith in the shift supervisors, they know what they are doing. You are losing good people because of inadequate pay.

    Pros

The employees are solid and my boss was very supportive. The product was good, but behind the times. The services that were provided to the clients were top notch.

    Cons

The platform the SAAS sat on was incredibly old and spotty. It was down all the time and clients couldn't get their work done. The senior management couldn't pull the trigger on a direction to move forward and due to the inability to make a decision, many clients left and the company is not in the best place.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the platform. Trust your employees to make the right decisions. Don't leave your client facing employees without back up by not making sure there are enough resources.

    Pros

Some of the people were great to work with. Salary is pretty good. New CEO appears to be trying to keep company going in right direction.

    Cons

No chance for advancement due to good ole boy network in place in our dept.. Current management structure lies and will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat.

    Advice to Management

Stop forcing the good people out because of the old mentality.

    Pros

Stock grants are pretty generous now that they give them to everyone...except that eBay is selling Enterprise to a private equity firm.

    Cons

Turnstile of incompetent Sr Leadership since the eBay acquisition.

    Advice to Management

Fall on your swords and let those who know how to run the company, run the company.

    Pros

You can work from home when you want. Having eBay listed looks good on a resume.

    Cons

I had no work/life balance while working at ebay enterprise. Management never made any proactive decisions so we were constantly chasing client requests instead of making plans for the future to be ahead of the requests and needs of our clients. We were constantly two steps behind. Every client launch was a total mess and eBay did not learn from the mistakes of previous launches. There was no team morale. Everyone fends for themselves.

    Advice to Management

Create a better environment where the different departments are working together instead of against each other. The company would be way more productive. Treat your employees as you would like them to treat the company. The company morale is terrible since the employees are treated as disposable.

    Pros

Good benefits and frequently have different things happen during the holidays

    Cons

Actually working there is an absolute misery. Everyday is mind numbing boredom and is extremely hard to enjoy this job by any means.

    Pros

Good benefits(over 100 hours of paid time off) and health insurance(very good, hard to come across). Flexible with schedules for school. Nice break room. Pretty easy work. Generous amount of sick/late days. Time+time and a half for holiday pay(×2.5)

    Cons

Little to no room for advancement. Calls are graded with a book to the face. Benefits will likely disappear as eBay is looking to sell EBay Enterprise. No good recognition program. Questionable management. Training has little hands on practice. You'll have to start as a temp. HR can be really rude. Favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, they have a lot of good ideas as they are working directly with the customers.

    Pros

Awesome PTO - but only if you can get converted from a "temp" to a regular employee.

    Cons

The background/credit check for conversion is insanely stringent for McDonald's-like wages. Credit check is a key component of the conversion process, but your credit has nothing to do with the benefits you are denied access to if you are not converted from a temp agency employee to an eBay employee. You are able to work as a temp for 1.5 years, taking the same sensitive financial information from customers as eBay employees, but you are excluded from PTO, raises, affordable benefits, promotions, stock sharing options, the list goes on!

    Advice to Management

When you aren't sticking with a job because of low pay, or because of the brutal nature of being screamed at and abused by customers, you are typically doing so out of loyalty, or a happy, comfortable, and cohesive workplace. Nurturing employee morale rather than discouraging it on all fronts and at every turn will breed a much more result and customer driven workforce.
