I have been working at eHealth full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Nice chairs, ok break room

    Cons

Management, early and too late shifts, blatant favortism for few employees, no breaks, no team development, poor actual job training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be decent to staff, be more in touch that most of staff is disillusioned, stressed and just plain unhappy. Dont treat people like cogs in a machine. Keep promises made or dont make them until you can deliver.

I have been working at eHealth full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

We have a brand new facility in the Westford, MA office and it is a nice environment to work out of...for now

    Cons

The workforce is one that is very cut throat and backstabbing. Nearly each and every person is totally inconsiderate to his/her fellow employees. Women use the restroom as a social lounge while I've heard that male employees have observed others urinating on the bathroom floor.

The parking lot is absolute chaos resembling that of a scene in Apocolypse Now. Employees have been known to intentionally park next to nice cars in an attempt to be "funny". It's as if they don't care for others personal property...or they have the humor of that of an 8 year-old

I have been working at eHealth full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Diverse mix of skillful employees with positive outlook.

    Cons

Overall needs complete management shake-up. Cronyism is pervasive. Management has no "value" for employees, belief that they are a dime a dozen with salary to match. If not part of the "favs" have little if any opportunity to make more than the $14/hr base. HR will "lie, cheat and steal" to obtain a commitment from prospective employees with promises of huge increase in salary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some Business School management classes would be helpful. Management and HR personnel would do well to value and develop current employees instead of wasting employees' time and efforts. Would be helpful if HR listened to employee concerns.

    I worked at eHealth

    Pros

I struggle to provide content here.
The heath insurance is better than nothing.

    Cons

Public humiliation and finger pointing is the norm.
Process is only something to avoid or hide behind.
Project management and customer management are avoided at all costs.
I received my dental insurance cards the same day I received them from my new company; 10 months after my start date.
I would hestitate to recommend this company to anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sadly, Management is enjoying their expense accounts and have zero interest in their employees.
    Offer formal training.
Perform skip level meetings to ensure your upper level managers are performing to expectations.
