I worked at iDirect Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    I worked in TAC:
It's well supported by its director
Most of the the people there very talented, hardworking, and easy to get along with
Career Path has recently been redefined
     They hire smart
Managers are good people to work for and with
Advancement is based on merit, they advance the right people

    Cons

A lot of the problems with TAC has been removed with a regime change, but there's a holdover left who can be unbearable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay technical! Keep rewarding your people. Get bigger cubicles for Tier 1

I worked at iDirect Technologies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Favorable work environment. Ability to work remotely. Good location and work facilities. Direct contact with VP's and decision makers...

    Cons

Work culture environment tends to "click" within departments. Rapid growth and new processes not keeping up with systems training. High numbers of VP and Director level staff on site can make working difficult (at times impossible).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tends to be guilty of having too many bosses and not enough workers to spread work around. Too many bosses subscribing to the grapevine management system versus personnel performance.

    Pre Sales

I worked at iDirect Technologies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This is a good company to work in where the hours you need to put in do not cross 40 per week. The management is okay.

    Cons

There is no growth that I can see in this company because it deals with satellite communication and such jobs are not easily available if you want to switch somewhere else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As I have said that the management is okay. The human resource people are rude.

I have been working at iDirect Technologies

    Pros

Interesting technology, and future seems to be good. we had a strong growth over the last few years and management seems to be very optimistic. overall I feel good about my salary compared to people working in this industry

    Cons

seems like there is more and more bureaucracy. this may have to do with the company who acquired us, or maybe people think we are not working in an organized enough way, but my feeling is that it is becoming a burden which may eventually kill creativity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

we need to get back to being less formal, and salaries should continue to increase to reflect the growth of the business.
