This company in no way values it's employees.

    Management (Former Employee)
    Hollywood, CA

ProsNice co workers and it is a pay check.

ConsThe CEO and VP of HR are cutthroat to employees. Even though the company has more many than they know what to do with and turns a huge profit, the continue to give zero raises and low to no bonuses. They also low ball on salary. Everyone that works there is constant looking for a new job.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare about your employees and treat them with respect.

    Mediocre

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Hollywood, CA

Prosthe employees are nice, casual environment

Consvery mediocre environment with everyone just maintaining the status quo, very poor benefits, low compensation and low raises, no growth opportunities, employees are under appreciated, location is right in the middle of tourist traffic, terrible data systems and processes, workforce is mainly older with a lack of young vibrant minds

Advice to Senior Managementcombine sick days and vacation days into one category of Personal Time Off, reward your employees with more generous raises, invest in company infrastructure such as better reporting software, cater food for employees at least once a month, more company events, online expense forms,

    Incredibly depressing place to work

    Engineer (Current Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsI actually cant really think of any. My manager was a nice guy.

ConsTerrible pay, horrible facilities, outdated equipment. Management/HR showed a complete lack of interest in me. Spent vast amounts of time there with absolutely nothing to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest some resources in your facilities and make sure that people feel valued and like they are contributing to something instead of just leaving them to their own devices.

    Meat factory of death

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsDo not work here! You will hate it! There are no pros of this company.

ConsNo raises, no incentives, no reason to work hard at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart taking notice of the hardworkers instead of grinding them into the ground and then recycling them for cheaper. If you recognize and reward the good talent there, people may stay for more than 6 months!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Animals are treated better than employees

    Inside Sales (Current Employee)
    West Hollywood, CA

ProsLOCATED ON HOLLYWOOD BLVD.. Lots of premiers

ConsIf your looking for an employer that cares for it's employees, RUN. This company has no compassion for the employees at all, the harder you work the worse they treat you, If your making money the clock stops and they'll find a way to take it from you. I have never worked for a company that was this bad when it comes to the way I'm treated. As a matter of fact all of my previous employer have always asked for my return to the company. At J2 global, the saying is if you don't like it. FIND ANOTHER JOB. what a company. Promoting based on your preformance and hard work it's not happening. HR is a joke, management is a clown and the Owner is a loan shark. Previous Sales manager left the company because after 8 years of hard work they wouldn't give him a raise nor and promotion. Let's just say, apply here if your just wanting something until a better opportunity comes along this place is a dead in for low skilled people.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind a new job, this is not a company it's a life taker.

Dysfunctional company, does not care about employees. You are better off unemployed than working here.

    (Current Employee)
    Hollywood, CA

ProsThere are no "pros" to working here except proximity the subway.

ConsAbsolutely nothing good about this company, benefits are lousy, and pay is under market. The attitude here is that people are replaceable. Network Operations is the worst group. Incompetent senior leadership, who routinely pits people against each other and manipulates, blames everyone but themselves when things go wrong. Classic example of a Machiavellian narcissistic type executives. People quit this place fast.

Advice to Senior ManagementReorganize. This company suffers from greed and lack of fresh executive management.

    SEASONED EMPLOYEE OF MANY YEARS

    Inside Sales (Current Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsOffice is located in all the action on Hollywood Blvd, Free bagles on Mon and Wed great people to work with.

ConsPoor commission structure, very bad, commission structure changes when sales reps make more money than they've budgeted for. sales department is flooded with customer service calls. Company does not care for employees, you will never receive a raise. customer service also does sales which takes money from the sales department, chargebacks could wipe out your entire commission,
High turnover, 401K is not matched, only 500 per year from company. not a good place for someone over 35 year of age looking for a career. If your just looking to get experience, this is the place for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn the product so you could help your team, fight for your team when it comes to the commission structure. Have proper protocall when it comes to advancement. Happy employees makes a Happy Company.

    Inside Sales (Current Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsGreat people working on the sales floor.

ConsTerrible management, poor commission structure, low employee moral due to company constantly figuring out ways to take commissions away. The sales floor gets worse everyday.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees the way you want to be treated. You would not like your commissions that pay your bills and feed your family to be taken away from you.

Prosflexible hours, free bagels in the morning taste good

Conscompany will cut your pay at a moments notice with no concern for the employee and claim the labor laws changed. Suck it up, nothing we can do about it, if you have a problem go talk to HR. Totally unacceptable!!!
