    ProsWork from home on Friday's is pretty great. Free lunch on Thursday's. That's where it ends for the pro's.

    ConsIf you have ever wanted to work at a company full of anti-social personalities that love to gossip about each other, don't communicate, have very bad tempers and aren't really all that skilled, this place is for you!

    A lot of very, very strange personalities at this company that are incredibly anti social. Most of management is new and have no clue what they are doing or how to manage a team. One day they'll communicate details with you, and then next month you'll barely hear from them. Then they start asking questions when work isn't getting done and wonder why. A huge lack of leadership and understanding of what it takes to actually *lead*.

    Do not expect consistent reviews and feedback unless it is negative. Do not expect a "Thanks" or "Great job!". Do not expect gratitude. Sure, they're paying you, but a simple "Keep up the good work." every now and then from people that matter says more than money does any day!

    Management is known to gossip to other employees about other employees on the team and spread rumors as well as personal details about those employees. I personally had an experience with this and had learned from management about personal conversations between them and an employee. This is usually a big no-no in companies with HR.

    They are out of touch with today's market. Company thinks 35k for a college graduate from one of the highest ranking tech schools in the nation is "great pay" and "they'd be happy to make that much".

    Skill sets vary at this company. There are very few people that really know their stuff and that you can learn from. Everyone else is stuck in 1995, but thinks that their skill set is valuable. Typically, those people have very large ego's too.

    More time is spent arguing at this place than actually getting work done. I was in meetings where over 2 hours of arguments took place and yet nothing was finalized. It was simply due to ego's and each person wanting to prove they were right.

    There are some fun and friendly people here, but those people are all very upset with this place as well, so it may not take them long to find another job. Then all you will be left with are the people that really don't know how to socialize and like to gossip about each other.

    Advice to Senior ManagementWise up. The market in the tech world makes it so very easy to find a job if you're skilled. There are so many people in this company that would be fired from a more professional company simply due to huge HR violations that would potentially cause law suits.

    Show some appreciation towards your employees. Recognize good work where it's warranted and don't always just look for the negative. Simple praise goes a long way to make employees feel they're important and make them happy to be there.

    Insist that the most difficult personalities in that company (and there are A LOT) have some sort of therapy or counseling on how to actually socialize without tempers and or being rude.

    No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    nCircle works you to death and pays lousy salaries

    ProsCool technology, great location close to everything

    ConsWant to earn minimal pay even though you have your CCIE, CISSP, and other top level certs? Go work for nCircle - or earn 40-60K more at most other companies in the Bay Area. Is this a reflection of how you'll be treated financially after hiring? You betcha!

    Good people, but internal problems

    ProsGood, smart people. Company is growing. Nice location in downtown San Francisco. Benefits are reasonable. Pay is good. Company good about letting you have time off.

    ConsProducts are no longer competitive and have quality problems. Competitors are moving faster. Company is growing, but so slowly that it seems like it's being left behind.

    Advice to Senior ManagementMake the hard decisions and stick to them. Get rid of underperformers faster. Be more creative in thinking about your overall strategy. Maybe be a little more encouraging.

    Echo "going nowhere" - lack of leadership

    ConsBoring place for engineering talent - Maintenance mode of products, no innovation, complete lack of career growth; talent leaves rather than stick around in a frustrating holding pattern. Lack of communication between divisions; no leadership

    Advice to Senior ManagementShow up for work; Lead the company; Promote internally to motivate people; Loose some of the bloat in upper management
