Pros – thePlatform hires really good people... smart, dedicated, engaged employees. That it is a good place to work is shown by the very low turnover of the staff.
Good benefit package.
Being backed by Comcast helps in a slow economy.
Cons – Slow to learn from mistakes.
Little evidence of business analysis.
Unwillingness to negotiate from a position of strength with customers.
Unorganized and ad-hoc processes across the company.
Opportunities for career growth are unclear.
Lack of training.
Laissez-faire management style allowing some people to get away with more than you would hope would be allowed.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to employees. Solicit feedback.
Train employees to be better able to hit the ground running.
Offer more opportunities to move up within organization.

Pros – Good compensation, great work/life balance, interesting projects
Cons – A large portion of the organization does not appear to learn from their mistakes. This seems to be par for the course in professional services organizations; however, if the data and resource talent is there, the situation should not happen a second or third time.
Advice to Senior Management – Spent time improving your department. Just because it has worked in the past does not mean it could not be improved for the future.

Pros – Senior leadership and vision for making great products.
Committed to doing the right thing for the customer.
Honesty from CEO
Open door policy
Small side benefits like soda, snacks, employee lunches once per month
Quarter company outings (baseball, golf, etc)
Intelligent and diverse co-workers
Cons – Sometimes environment feels like a popularity contest
No method to provide feedback about direct manager
Lack of ability to work from home
Company can sometimes seem arrogant since we are the industry leader
Middle management is selected based on time at company, not who is best qualified
No clear career path
Advice to Senior Management – Trust your employees (and sometimes allow them to work from home).
Provide a method to review your direct manager or direct management chain.
Maybe have an anonymous comment box.
Continue to be agile and reactive to the marketplace
The company has hired some VERY bright people, ask their opinion about the companies position in the industry.
