Yes. Keep in mind most companies sales goals are considered proprietary and cannot be demonstrated. One could still prove by commission check stubs. In retrospect, I don't think that a "no" would be detrimental. Agreeing to find an alternative on the spot shows integrity and an ability to think quickly to find solutions.
