The directness of this question caught me a little off guard, but afterward I was glad the question was asked, because it made me think about my level of comfort with the risk of working for a dot-com start up. I answered by indicating that I felt a low level of job security at my current job (which was true due to downsizing), so I was already living with risk of being unemployed.
