what you want to say is something along the lines of, i tryed, it dont work, i tell a higher up. here's what i think i said.
"I would do my best to try and diffuse the situation,if i can help them with there problem, i will but if it;s out of my hands ,i'll call a supervisor "

but if you quote me, let me remind you, that when i was getting interviewd, it was VERY CASUAL, so i cant even be 100% they were listening.
