Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
First took a "pharmacology test" and only those who passed were allowed to be interviewed... however it wasnt just a pharmacology test as there was other nursing related material on it. many errors on the test... very unprofessional to give a test of that caliber...

Interviewed Jul 2009 in New York, NY (took 5 days)
It was personable and strange at the same time. I interviewed with the recruiter, then the executive of the organization and then the hiring manager. The hiring manager was late for the 9:00 am interview. The atmosphere seemed heavy and somewhat intimidating. The hiring manager seemed as if she didn't want to interview me but was rather coerced into doing so.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 1 week)
It was a phone interview. First, they checked my experiences and skills. And some behavior questions.
Not that difficult but have to show your passion for the labor movement.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in New York, NY (took 1 week)
Received a call from the HR department and was asked a few general questions about my education and employment background and skill set. Received another call from the same HR person a few days after the first call and was asked to come in for an in-person interview plus a computerized test. I was tested on computer for MS Excel, Access and technical writing. There was no time constraint for MS Excel and Access tests but the software tells you that it does time you in the background. The technical writing part consists of a scenario and asks you to discuss the scenario in the allotted thirty minutes. After the test, I was interviewed by the same HR person who had spoke to me on phone. She just asked me questions from already prepared piece of paper and recorded my answers. The questions were primarily canned HR interview questions involving scenarios. You are asked to answer these questions citing examples from previous employment experience.
I personally thought the computerized tests were ridiculous and a waste of time.
I was told to wait a couple of weeks before the actual hiring manager considers my resume for a further interview. I will update this review as I move ahead in the interview process.
