Sales Representative Interview

Sales Representative

Interviewed at 20/20 Companies

Interview Details – The hiring process is a bit of a joke, they will hire anyone who has half a brain and hope that they can get a few sales out of them. It takes a lot of effort to train the new hires and usually takes a toll on the current and long standing employees.

Interview Question – There really wasn't unexpected questions. I do remember some sales meetings that were quite different, but apparently necessary because of the lack of experience within the office.   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at 20/20 Companies.

Interview Details – After application is submitted and reviewed you'll be contacted by HR to set up a phone interview. If you are moved to the next step you'll do a interview with the GM in the hiring area. Typical interview questions, why are you good for this job? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Sell me this pen(lol classic), etc. you'll pretty much know after that interview if your hired or not. I was sent straight to the drug test clinic and signing background check releases.

Interview Question – Nothing really questions where routine. Be ready to sell some kind of office supply tho because the first one they see on the desk will be the item.   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Not much at all

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week - interviewed at 20/20 Companies.

Interview Details – Phone screen or email correspondence with national or local recruiter. Will disqualify or qualify you based on a few simple "knockout" questions. You don't have to have the most experience but they are looking for positive attitude and the ability to deal with rejection - like most sales companies in today's marketplace. Face to face interview with hiring manager and if they like what they see you will complete application the same day and can be in training within one week. Takes about one full week of training and then you are making money. Must be able to pass national background check and drug panel.

Interview Question – If you were writing a book on how to become successful, what would one of your chapters be?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – None.
