Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 2 weeks)
You will go through 3 diffrent interview process. First the MM,then a week will go by. Then you wil meet with the CM. Then another week will go by you then will meet with MM,CM,Nd Dm. Then about 2 weeks after that background check. In total it will take at least a month to get hired. They work place is very pleasant to work at. They just do not pay very well. You have to have another job in order to keep head above water. Forget about working enough hours for med benifits. If your an Manager its a good place to work. If not forget about
it.
Reason for Declining
They offered me a postion I did not apply for.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in San Ramon, CA (took a day)
First a general phone screening interview with HR. The a 1:1 interview with the director of the finance department, the person that was going to individually hire me and that i would work under. She basically asked me to explain a few things on my resume, how they are relevant to the job position, etc. It seemed that she was mostly looking for a good "fit". No complicated IQ testing/brainteasers. The environment in the office is extremely laid back, can pretty much wear whatever you want, the people are very very nice and helpful.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I initially applied online and after about 2 or 3 months I received a phone call to come in for an interview. My first interview was with my direct supervisor and my second interview was with the club manager. The questions were pretty basic. Just know that they put a lot of emphasis on their mission statement, service promise, and core values so do your homework on that before the interview.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in San Bernardino, CA (took 3 weeks)
Applied online (which included agreeing to a background check and a multiple choice personality test) which was followed up by a quick phone interview which resulted in an invitation for a group interview. The group interview involved 2 managers and about 17 applicants. Of those 17, I was the only 1 invited to a 1:1 interview with the service manager. After that interview I was asked back for a 1:1 interview with the club manager. The process took several weeks and they were not always very reliable about answering the phones but the offer eventually came. The work place is a bit unreliable however in that they know how harsh the economy is and feel free to twist your arm on hours and such because finding another opportunity is so rare and difficult. Also if you annoy them for some reason they are well-known for just cutting your hours down to like one shift a week until they feel less annoyed or inconvenienced. The job is easy though and is a good fit for students.

Negotiation Details
There is not really any negotiations to be had. They know the economy and job market are tough and offer minimum wage for part-time hours without any benefits.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Responded to a job fair. Signed in and was called after about 20 minutes. The interviewer asked if I was certified and I showed him my certification, and then he proceeded to ask me questions about my past jobs. Sales experience, how I've handled difficult customers, etc.
The interview went very well, but I live far away from this location so he is going to recommend me to a club nearer to me. Overall, very good experience. I will say if you don't have your cert, it's going to be a short interview.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in San Ramon, CA (took 3 weeks)
First call was from internal recruiter-Sulton Moore.
Second interview with with 3 people who worked in marketing/research.
Sulton called to tell me I had the job and what was my salary range. I gave him range and he said he would call back with offer details. I canceled my other interviews for that week.
Then we played telephone tag for over a week, and then he said I had no offer, because he did not put in writing. I was devastated.
