It was a career fair , just went in and immediatley had an interview with the Main trainer. She just asked general questions. like when was the last time you helped someone reach a goal. What experience do u have in customer service

After submitting online application. I used trial membership at club and introducted myself. Few days later, received a phone call and set up interview for a week later.

Responded to a job fair. Signed in and was called after about 20 minutes. The interviewer asked if I was certified and I showed him my certification, and then he proceeded to ask me questions about my past jobs. Sales experience, how I've handled difficult customers, etc.
The interview went very well, but I live far away from this location so he is going to recommend me to a club nearer to me. Overall, very good experience. I will say if you don't have your cert, it's going to be a short interview.

Hiring was pretty straight forward. They pretty much start by asking you to tell them about your background. They will ask about different situations, and ask how you will deal with it. How will you handle the situation? The questions are pretty easy, but you better have some good answers.

I dont know if I got the job yet or not but the interview consisted of answering super generic questions like why do you want to work here and what are your strength and weaknesses, why do you want to work at 24 hours, what makes you want to be a trainer etc.

You either fill in the online application form or hand in your resume in person. The FM will take your interview. If you have at least one certification you are generally eligible to be employed. Interview was non-technical. Basically I was asked if I could get results. So asked if they meant the results in terms of selling the training sessions & the supplements or the results in terms of improving the health of my clients. The FM was stumped. So I said I could do well on both counts.
That was about it.
