Interviewed Oct 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
I was first invited to network with reps from the firm at a fancy bar in my University. This got me on their watch list as I was called for a first round interview within two weeks via the campus recruiting system. The first round was on campus - I was told that evening that I had passed the first round and was invited to Chicago for the final round interviews. The final round interviews were as difficult as any other consulting interview - 2 case interviews and one "personality" interview. The cases were the usual stream of complex business issues and one partner continuously pushed for me to give more ideas.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
Interview itself was easy and the case they gave was relatively straightforward for both rounds. The 2nd round interviewer they put in front of me was very inexperienced and could not get over the fact that I was more qualified for the job than she was. Once that became apparent, I've tried to get her past it and get her to move on but it created an uneasy tone for the rest of the conversation.

I think the interviewers are more approachable than I thought. They are supportive when I was stuck during the case interviews. Overall speaking, I think the experience is very good.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Mexico City, The Federal District (Mexico) (took 3 months)
The interview process consisted of a series of rounds, each with a higher lever employee, and finalized with a one on one interview with the Country Manager.
The first rounds where case interview and the final one was situation based. The process took more that expected because the company was still waiting for a consulting contract to be signed.
Overall the experience was good because I received feedback

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took 3 weeks)
I applied online. I had a phone interview with an associate, followed by a second phone interview with a more senior associate that included a case and questimation. I was flown out to Chicago for the final round of interviews. It consisted of 4 or 5 interviews (mixture of cases, guestimations, behavioral, and experience) and a 3 hour skills assessment. The skills assessment tests your proficiency in Access, VBA, and ADO. It's pretty basic if you are proficient, but the extreme time constraint made exponentially harder. All in all, nice people and a fair process. Be extremely prepared for Case interviews and the Skills Assessment.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Vienna (Austria) (took a day)
First assignment was to estimate yearly beer consumption in Austria. The interviewer tried to help me which way to go in the calculation to estimate the beer consumption, but I was too focused on my own methodology. Although I calculated a market estimation the interviewer was not happy about my team capabilities, since I have not accepted her help and continued with my own methodology. I think this was the main reason why I was turned down in the end.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
The first round was a phone interview which was just a simple resume walk through. There were a few questions like "How would I go about sorting data of such and such" but pretty basic. The next round was a full day with an HR, a senior analyst, manager, and a VP. Pretty down to earth and casal but there was one brain teaser - "How would i go about figuring out how many ping pong balls can fit into a 747?" Lastly, there was an hour long test on Access. Pretty tricky and not enough time to finish it, so definitely know Access well as well as writing macros.
