Flexibility is paramount: everybody is always travelling and video conferencing is quite common. The interviews were 3: 2 in person and 1 through skype. I tried to be myself as much as possible , understand if I would like the position and I could contribute to the company goal with my experience and competencies.

Basic Questions of tell me about yourself, what do you know about the company, where do you see yourself in three years, what would your manager say about yourself, give me an example about troubleshooting, do you work good in a team or by yourself and what do you know about Subsystems? HR person was not very friendly and I thought it was the personally test to see how I would react. He did not seem to want to be there. They also don't call you or inform you if you did not get the job. It is like one of those dates of don't call me, I will call you. There is no follow up. I sent two emails and receive nothing. Then after calling, I was told it was filled. I thought their process was rude and unprofessional. Overall my other two interviewers were nice. I would give them 3.5 stars out of 5.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Montreal, QC (Canada) (took 2 months)
Knowledge of the position through networking with past colleagues which has led to identify the said position. Formal letter sent to the upper management at local level. A lot of emails part of the exchange over following 3 weeks which has led to a formal phone interview to be scheduled. Interview has taken place on scheduled date. Decision reach within 2 weeks to select best candidate.

It was a very nice and friendly interview process, few people being interviewed (4 candidates and 2 interviewers). It took 4 hours (only) and it was the only step to be hired (besides a interview with the manager).
The only problem was that they took more than one week to respond (that was the deadline).
