Getting an Interview
Senior Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through other source and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at ABS in January 2009.
Interview Details – Very good
Reason for Declining – Salary, they came back to me several times with increases, but by that time I had made other plans
Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
The process took a day - interviewed at ABS in January 2010.
Interview Details – simple interview in front of a panel
Reason for Declining – pay not high enough
Sales Development Interview (Negative Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied through other source and the process took a day - interviewed at ABS in March 2010.
Interview Details – Sent in application on career builder and they called to schedule phone interview. Phone interview was about 1 hour - job was offered(commission only)-and flight arrangement made. I had to pay for flight to be reimbursed. Based on quick job offer, lack of salary base, and unwillingness to answer some basic questions, i felt job was not above board and declined

Reason for Declining – Though things moving too quickly and began to do more web research. Saw this company was a variation of another consulting firm with much bad press and felt they had not been honest. All the the same players from the old firm were involved and only the name changed
