I applied through college or university and the process took 1 week - interviewed at AIG.

Interview Details – You do three to four interviews with different divisions of the Underwriting AIG team. Each one is approximately 30 minutes and are pretty casual and contain your basic behavioral questions. They pretty much run through your resume and ask questions based on challenges you've faced in past situations and how you handled them. Overall it is pretty casual and nothing is to unexpected. Having some basic knowledge of Underwriting going in is a definite plus.

Interview Question – Can you describe a time when you faced a challenge that was hard to overcome (something along those lines)   View Answers (5)

Summer Analyst - Finance Interview

Summer Analyst - Finance
New York, NY

I applied through college or university and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at AIG.

Interview Details – Applied online through careers website, got invited to an interview a week or so later. Came in and talked to an on campus HR lady. She was very nice and the interview went really well at least in my eyes. She told me she would contact me within a few days, but I ended up waiting 2 weeks to get an automated rejection email. Apparently they have a revamped recruiting program and trying to do new things so this seems like a good up and coming place for college grads to work however I was displeased with the follow up process.

Interview Question – Completely behavioral, as well as why do you want to work here, and why   Answer Question
