Interviewed Aug 2010 (took a day)
One on one interview, it was mostly them asking why I wanted to work there and what skills I could offer and what was my weakest point. The interviewer was nice, but I wasn't optimistic about it, so I wasn't surprised when I didn't get a call back.

Interviewed May 2010 in Cupertino, CA (took a day)
I entered my information by using snagajob.com.
There was the usual survey.
It was over 100 questions and it took me a single day to finish it.
I consider people not applying online.
Instead, actually go up to AMC in person and ask for an interview or something.

Waited about 15 minutes until they actually called us in. It was a group interview, consisting of about 5 people. The interviewer would ask each person a different question, sometimes would ask the same question for two people. The questions consisted of scenarios, such as What would you do if a customer was rude?

Interviewed Jul 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
I saw that a position as a film crew was available online via snagajob.com. So I decided to apple online. About 3 weeks later I was called for an interview. The interview consisted of a phone interview where they ask you a couple questions such as: are you willing to follow the dress code, do you have any visible tattoos or piercings etc. After the phone interview, a in person interview was set up for the next day. I went to the interview dressed professionally. The interviewer asked me the basic questions like: Tell me about yourself? Why do you want to work here? What skills can you bring to this position? After that I was asked five behavioral questions. I was called the next day and offer the job.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Glendale, AZ (took a day)
They have you fill out an online survey. Then if you pass that you have a simple phone interview just asking if you were given the job would you follow certain policies. (No visible tattoos, piercings, background check, etc) Then they ask you in for a one on one interview with either the general manager or the assistant general manager. They ask you scenario questions pertaining to work and questions about obstacles in your life and how you overcame them. (Usually pertaining to skills needed to be a "good" employee). The interview is about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. They don't really tell you anything about how you did. Then if they want to hire you they call you in for training etc.
