Interviewed Aug 2011 in Corpus Christi, TX (took 3 weeks)
I applied online. The following week I had to call them to check the status of my application. Finally after a week and a half i got a hold of manager and they scheduled an interview. In my interview I had to do a drug test which would take about 3 days. (thats what I was told). A week later I called again to check and they still hadn't heard back from the results. Finally after about 3 week process I came in on a Saturday and did my paperwrork and started on Monday.

Interviewed May 2011 in Webster, TX (took 2 days)
I saw a listing for an Assistant Manager position at my local AMF, and decided to send in my resume. Within an hour I had a call from a woman in corporate setting up an interview for me. The first interview was with the location's General Manager. It was very layed back, and he was extremely impressed with my resume and motivation. He said he would pass me on to the District Manager, and to expect a call in the next few days.
That same day, I got the call and had my next interview set up. The next interview was another 1 on 1 but with the DM. Here I explained my work background, and why I thought I would be good for the company. He too was impressed, and we negotiated a salary. From there I took the drug test, assessment test, and submitted to the background check.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Kansas City, MO (took 2 weeks)
Interviewed consisted of 2 phone interviews and a 1:1 interview with District Manager. They used a sccripted interview guides were used and centered around inter-personal skills. 1st interview was with AMF recruitor, 2nd was in person, and 3rd interview was on phone with regional HR. Sounds like good training plan, however they stated learning curve was 1 year for industry. Opprotunity for growth in 3-5 years.
They perform a full criminal back ground check and Choice point Credit Check.

Interviewed Oct 2008 (took a day)
Decent. Read from a bunch of questions. Bowled, and went over the basics of bowling and stuff like that. Interview process as a whole was about 3 or 4 hours long because of bowling, the sit down, meeting people, and being shown every single part of the bowling alley.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Personality Test.
