first apply online and register yourself with the job. Then wait for them to call. set up interview time. Went to interveiw after being told I passed the first part. Then when one and one interview came I was told that I did not pass for that job. But gave me a different location to set up a interview with their other location.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 days)
The process is very "doable", for lack of a better word. The Salary offered is under payed for a customer service rep that interacts with the professional community in my opinion. Operations Manager and most team leads are very competent, but ultimately it's up to one to meet the standards required by the company, no babysitting with this company.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Davenport, IA (took a day)
I applied for the job online and was given the opportunity to select a day & time for the interview after doing a few online tests. The next morning I received a phone call from one of the schedulers seeing if I would be willing to come in earlier. I politely explained that since I live in a further outlying area from the site that I would prefer to come in at my scheduled time. (My appointment was at 10:00am, the phone call was around 9:00am and I had just started to get ready for my appointment.) The scheduler was fine with that and once arriving I had to go through some of the same things I did online because that way it would be in their system instead of the main system. After waiting for 30 minutes to be asked two questions by the scheduler, I waited another 30 - 45 minutes for a supervisor to be available for an interview to be asked very few questions about qualifications. I then waited another 20 minutes for a decision to be made and was then offered a position and told to go to a clinic for a drug test. By the time I arrived home it was about 2:00pm. VERY lengthy process for a simple entry level job.

Negotiation Details
There isn't much room for negotiation, except for which program you are assigned to. If you're looking for better wages, you're stuck with night/weekend hours. If you're looking for a days only/weekends off type schedule, you're stuck with low wages. Team leads/supervisors also seem to work long hours with little pay; no overtime is offered, even though they typically work 50+ hours weekly.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 1 week)
They posted the job online so I filled out the application and took a call center simulation test and after that I received a phone call and had an interview. Easy interview just asked simple questions about previous work experience and what my old bosses would say about me and my work.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Tucson, AZ (took a day)
The interview itself seemed fairly standard. After filling out some additional information that was not given at the time of the application, I met with a Human Resources representative, and was given a listing of questions regarding my qualifications in customer service, as well as an assessment of my confidence in dealing with customer situations and to recall a few instances in which I showed myself to be above average in person to person communication.

Negotiation Details
There wasn't very much of a negotiation process. It's a frontline call center job; it's very much "take it or leave it". That can sound negative, but compared with the other job opportunities in Tucson, the offer they give is very, very difficult to refuse.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in La Crosse, WI (took 4 days)
I applied at APAC online on Wednesday, which included a personality test, online simulation and a basic application. Thursday I got an email about setting up a phone interview. Friday morning I had the phone interview which is basically where they ask you very basic questions about yourself and what not. Then I was asked when would be a good day to come in for a group interview. On Tuesday I went in for the group interview with 6 other people. They asked you basic questions in front of the group and they also gave a tour and a presentation about APAC and what they do. After the interview they said you would find out if you got the job with in 48 hrs. About 45min after the interview, I got a call asking me to accept, the following day I went in to fill out paper work and take a drug test.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Green Bay, WI (took 2 weeks)
I applied online and then was then directed to do an inbound Customer Service Rep simulation. After that, I chose a time to come in to fill out onsite application, which I did in the next couple of days. When I went in, I filled out info about myself, work history, references. I had on spot interview which lasted about 20 minutes. I waited a while for the interviewer to be ready. She was all over the place, asked me how I was about 3-4 times while she said Hi to other people in the office. After the interview, she said ALL applications get sent to operations and I'll hear back in a week or two. Which is a LIE. I have not heard back, wouldn't want to work for this company anyways. Pays very minimum 8.50 to start for training. I think Customer Service Reps deserve more than that, especially when they are the ones customers take out their frustration on most of the time!

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Green Bay, WI (took 1+ week)
I filled out extensive information online after which I was prompted to select an appointment time for an interview. At the interview I filled out much of the same information I had entered online and took a typing test. After this was completed, they examined my scores and decided I qualified for a 1:1 interview. The interviewer was very friendly and put me at ease. The interview took perhaps 20 minutes.
