Interviewed Jun 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
First HR called and spoke about my background. Then the team lead called a week later and had a 1 hour interview in which he asked several questions some of which I could not answer. He was impolite in general and never heard back from them again. Was a waste of time.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Studio City, CA (took 3 weeks)
I applied online through snagajob.com. Got a call about three weeks later to set up the interview. Was a 1:1 interview with the regional sales manager. Asked about previous experience and what if scenarios. About three weeks received call to set up second interview. Second interview was more of a mini-orientation letting me know what i needed to know.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Burbank, CA (took a day)
It was mainly driven by algorithm and technical questions, a lady was asking Java question but she don't have a clue the difference between inheritance and interface and was taken my correct answer as a wrong one. I admitted that I have been out of school for a long time and haven't studied the algorithm question really well, but that's the trend I guess for major technical companies.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Glendale, CA (took 2 days)
For intern position -
Phone screen with the director was relatively dry and not ...directed. Asked some questions about my background, but quite honestly, the communication just wasn't there to keep it going. Went into detail on the products, and team organization. Ironically, it was probably the worst interview I've had (simply because it sounded as if the manager didn't really care either way).
Was flown in for a on-site interview. Had 4 separate interviews, including one session of a technical related problem (simple optimization of search lists).
Turned out to be a gigantic waste of time (as my background wasn't that great of a fit to begin with, nor did it sound like they were willing to pay for a out of site intern).
HR was fantastic through (it's rare!).

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Glendale, CA (took 3 days)
Spoke with HR rep first. Then spoke with hiring manager. Set up team interview where I met with hiring manager and 4 team members.
They proceeded to ask me the standard software engineer interview questions. Asked me to white board a few basic algorithms. One guy brought his laptop into the interview and never took his eyes off of it, very unprofessional.
They will hire you if you remember how to do sort and partition algorithms that you wouldn't have done since college. They do not like to speak about your current work or projects. They also ask questions that will tell them how your family life is. For example: "Tell me about how or if you are involved in your community", or "Tell me about a time outside of work, where you took a risk." All of those questions were to get me to tell them if I have a family or not.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
The interview started from HR, the reception area is crowded, the room where interview performed is hot. The interviewers came in one by one, total 5, each took around 40 minutes. Some of them hadn't seen my resume, and let me think they were so busy. The answers to the questions are not about yes or no, it is about good, better or best. The questions were all algorithm-related, not easy to me.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took 4 weeks)
1. Applied online off a job board.
2. Waited a few weeks then waited a few more for first HR contact/interview.
3. Was sped through the interview process with the team. First with hiring manager via phone, second with various team members in person, third with senior exec.
4. I communicated to them all the way through that I would require a certain salary and they responded all the way through that they were trying to obtain approval.
5. They held me off for 4 weeks while they interviewed cheaper candidates and ended up finding one that was acceptable so they did not make me the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
the interview process consisted of applying online then I was set up for a one on one interview. The process was very simple interview questions easy and was offered the job the same day. The hiring manager seemed to be excited to be bringing me onboard due to my experience in the industry. Overall it was a straightforward and easy process and was happy about being offered the job that same day
