I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 months - interviewed at AT&T in September 2009.
Interview Details – The process is very honest and straight forward. HR is candid and is never misleading. I found value in what they told me and the working environment was just as I had been shown and as I had been lead to believe. Great people. I found the process pleasant and am actually now administering it myself. I was taught and extend the same courtesies I was provided when hired
Interview Question – My group (found out later) tends to ask questions until you can't answer them. This is a good thing, but daunting for the interviewee as you end up feeling like you might have failed when in reality they are VERY happy with your performance. This is in and of itself a test, however when under the gun it doesn't feel well, just note it is part of the process and you actually will likely perform very well. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Contractors can negotiate with their company but FTE really cannot, unless you are a requested, returning employee with something the company wants
I applied through an employee referral and the process took a day - interviewed at AT&T in May 2011.
Interview Details – AT&T has a simple process, i was called for interview which consist of IQ test, skill test and then after few minutes i was called for face to face interview by the process head which took 30 minutes to complete. Overall my interview went for 2 hours. I was then called by HR that i have been selected and they asked me to join on a particular date. They sent my Offer Letter though email. I then joined the organization and then they took all my papers documents for background check which took another 15 days but the day i joined i was on payroll of AT&T. Very professional!!!
