This was an internal position within the company so the interview process was a bit different and less formal than when bringing new external candidates. It consisted of multiple steps:
- Pre-screening phone call with HR
- Initial screening call with future supervisor
- Formal phone call with behavioral questions and presentation of business unit responsibilities and requirements. Q&A on both ends took place during the interview process.

Negotiation Details
No. There is no negotiation process for internal candidates- it is a take it or leave it type of offer.
My advice is that only accept the offer if you know and have a very solid knowledge of what you are going to be doing.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.
