Interviewed Oct 2010 in Ocala, FL (took a day)
Online application results in viewing a powerpoint presentation at home connected to a live conference call. Then onsite for another online test. If that test is passed, 1:1 interview is held. If you are hired, they call you and let you know the pay based upon your phone experience and sales experience. Background check is conducted by a 3rd party vendor. once that is cleared then start date is based upon the next training class schedule.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Austin, TX (took 2 weeks)
They took me into what looked like a storage room to hold the interview. I was asked about all of my former employers, what I did there, what I liked about it, what i didnt like about it, and why I left. They also asked situational questions like "tell me about a time that you went above and beyond for a customer" and "tell me about your best sales experience" as well as questions like "what would you do if your were on the phone with a customer who didn't agree with one of our policies" and one question that stuck out was "tell me what you think the hardest part of this job will be for you" The interviewing supervisor even through out a few kuss words in the interview telling me that "cusotmers call in a *b-word*" and things along those lines, i found that very strange. They told me that they would call me and let me know if i had the job or not, which at the time i thought was a no, but they called about 2 days later telling me that i had the job.

no negotiation, they got concerned that i was interested in returning to school, they saw that on my resume and made it a point to emphasize that there is absoluty no flexibility on there part and there never would be any.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took 2 days)
When looking for a job just know that this is a call center and it is a badge that you do not want on your resume unless you plan on staying there. Other employers shy way from your resume. Even if it is just for the benefits .

The test that they have you do on the computer in group interview is a placement for pay and you have common sense. HR that was highering for the call enter was wonderful but they are VERY limited in ways to help you resolve and problems.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK (took 2 weeks)
It started with a group phone interview. A few days later I went in and took a 2 hour skills test. It was a virtual call center and I had to take calls. It was multiple choice. That was pretty easy. After the test was over I was told that I had passed and set up a 1:1 phone interview a few days later. I did the phone interview and got an email to come in for a 1:1 interview with a hiring manager. I did that interview and still have not heard back.

The hiring manger conducted the interview. we talked about the company and expectations. then I was asked 6 questions that was scored then we talked some more. He let me no that CSR was a selling job but people that called in would be current customer looking for a deal to resume service. The next day I was sent a e-mail to complete an background and drug screen. The interview went extremely well.

Interviewed Mar 2008 in Pueblo, CO (took 2 days)
after a presentation of the position you will have to take a computer test that simulates different phone calls and will ask you to determine the best solution for the call.
if this test is passed you will be getting a tour/interview with a hiring manager. the tour shows you your potential work environment and the manager will ask you about your work experiences and determine if you qualify. if so, a drug test has to be taken within a short time frame and a background check will be performed.

Negotiation Details
besides the starting date nothing can be negotiated. your shift is based on seniority with the company and will most likely be crappy for about 1 year. overtime can be mandatory and if the center is open on holidays you may be drafted to work based on reversed seniority.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Johnson City, TN (took 2 weeks)
First I had a phone interview with a recruiter where I was asked general qualifying questions and given a general description of the responsibilities of the job. At that time, I was scheduled to come in for a classroom style job preview where I was again presented with an overview of the job through power point presentations and video clips. After the presentation, the class was given the opportunity to leave if they didn't feel it was something they wanted to do. At this time, I filled out an application, which included a personality test and also a simulation type skills test. The skills test consisted of real time scenarios where I had to interact with virtual customers over the phone and learn how to interact with the virtual system on the spot. The fast pace of the simulation caught me off guard at first as it was not expected. About a week later I was called in for a one on one interview. The interview lasted over an hour and was very in depth. The questions covered not only relevant work experience and "tell me a time when..." but also personal hobbies, opinions, and interests. Overall I was impressed with the interview process and thought it was set up very well to determine if I was right for the position. I was called about a week later with a job offer.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Triadelphia, WV (took a day)
Simple personality test, computer simulation of answering calls, performing account maintenance and accepting payments. During the 1 on 1 interview I was told that I had qualified (unlike some that was testing with the group They were told they had failed the qualification), I was asked about previous jobs and experiences, basic interview stuff. About a week later I got a e-mail saying they were looking for someone with more customer service experience.
