Interview Details – I applied online. Contacted the store manage by going into store, getting her card, and calling her. Let her know that I was extremely interested. Then, I received a call from HR letting me know I had an interview. The first interview was with the regional hiring consultant, and he just asked a series of specific questions/problems, where I had to relate personal life experiences to, and how I found an answer/solution. Then I was called back for a second interview by the store manager, and it was very similar to the first. I then was told that I had the job, and that I would be flying to and from my town to Dallas, TX for 4 weeks for training.
Interview Question – How, in the past, have you reacted when someone brings up a topic of conversation that requires you to display much compassion/sympathy for them? Answer Question

Interview Details – I was hired in a crash group outside of the normal pattern. I had been applying for any AT&T job I saw, and received two phone interviews followed by a hiring manager interview. Everything was pretty standard. My second in person interview was with the store's assistant manager and the district manager, since the store I was being hired in to had lost it's manager and had not had the new manager installed yet.
Interview Question – The usual customer service based questions about best/worst experiences and how you handled them. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Union contract did not allow for negotiating - I was offered with all salary stated.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Oklahoma City, OK Feb 2011 – Reviewed Nov 11, 2012
Interview Details – I applied online. I received a phone call about a week after that for a telephone interview. After the telephone interview I received another phone calling to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. I spoke to a HR professional and my Area Sales Manager. Both were pretty easy interviews. Then after about another week later I was offered the job. I had to submit to an extensive background check. They verified everything and if they couldn't get a hold of a previous employer I had to provide W2s.
Interview Question – They wanted to know how I responded to a situation with irate customers in the past. Answer Question
