Interview Details –
The interview process is a long drawn out process, which is in itself a sales tactic. The first meeting, they will show you a video, you will meet with "successful advisors" who will later admit to you that they despise the job.
The second meeting occurs if you select to be contacted by the firm. During this meeting, you are promised tons of money. If you even decide to return, make sure to document ALL the oral agreements because so much as a sneeze on your part shows consideration and makes the contract legally binding. They will make you interview at least 4 times, after which you have already invested so much time, that most people come aboard.
Once onboard the bs really piles on.....you are encouraged to sell to every friend and relative you know. Then you are to pressure these people into opening up their network of friends and relatives for you to con into buying expensive insurance policies and poor
performing mutual funds. You end up having to hide from relatives and friends, hating yourself for hurting people, and NOT making the big bucks you are promised up front. It is worse than selling Amway!
Interview Question – What is your professional goal in a short term period. Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at AXA in October 2012.
Interview Details – I had a phone interview which was pretty relaxed. It was followed by a first interview with HR personnel where they asked the usual questions. The second interview was with a manager and HR employee. They repeated some of the usual question and added job specific question and "role play". Finally I passed psychometric tests.
Interview Question – They asked to rate the business types by the degree of risk they posed to their insurance company. Answer Question

Interview Details – It was supposed to be an 1:1 interview about my personnal background, but they were 2 and they rapidly asked me if i was ok for a skills test. As I wanted to show my skills I said ok. The test was very hard and inadapted to my level after only two year of engineering school and poor education in finance.
