Abbott Vascular R&D Engineer Interview

Interview Details – Initial phone screen led to 1:1 interviews with 4 team members, including hiring manager. Both technical/science and generic behavioral interview questions. Advice to other interviewees: know your stuff for the particular area of R&D/engineering. Work culture is pretty typical: close within small group, and more distant in overall organization. I would say that Abbott is cooler than some other large medical device companies, but still lack the intimacy and nimbleness of start-ups.
