Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Paramus, NJ Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jan 1, 2013
Interview Details – Went into the store and applied (most likely to asses your looks) and set up for an interview which my store held on tuesdays and fridays. They want to see if you fit the Abercrombie style so dress similar to their style (i wore skinny jeans, converse sneakers, white button up with a collegiate style cardigan...it seems to go against most rules of interview attire but it works with them). Interviewed in a group with one other person and asked a standard set of questions: what does diversity mean to you? how would describe the abercrombie and fitch style? and a few more.
Interview Question – All the questions were easy. The interviewing manager is given a standard set of questions to ask that is used by most stores and isn't changed very often so it's easy to ask an employee or look on the internet for the questions and prepare yourself. But if you didn't or couldn't do that just knowing about the company and being familiar with them is enough to answer the questions Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Pay is minimum wage and non-negotiable, all stores do it. I was able to give them any availability I wanted so I didn't really have to work with them or negotiate a schedule.
Other Details - I applied in-person
