Interviewed Sep 2010 in Naples, FL (took 3 days)
I was approached by the manager who gave me a business card with the day and time of the interview. Interview was easy, a group of us. Asked questions that were recycled to other people in interview.

Interviewed May 2010 (took a day)
I was interviewed by the store manager. She was very nice and the questions were pretty basic. There was about six other girls in the group interview, so everyone basically gave the same responses. We did the interview in the middle of the back area of the sales floor. It was very hard to hear the questions and pay attention when there are people shopping around you. Overall, it was a pointless process that honestly does not matter because they hire based on your appearance.

Interviewed May 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Basically the store has interviews every Tuesday and Friday year-round. Interviews are done in a group. The manager asks a question, and then the people interviewing go around the circle and take turns answering it. You do it standing outside the store because the music is too loud. Questions were pretty basic like "if your friend were to describe you, what would they say?" "what do you consider to be your greatest strengths and give an example" "if things don't go your way, what do you typically do?" The manager scribbles things down as each person talks, he seems to be kind of writing down key things people are saying.

I didn't even think to negotiate. I think it's a pretty basic job that pays about minimum wage, but you should try and see how that goes. I doubt they would recind their offer, it never hurts to ask.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took a day)
The interview just consisted of basic knowledge of the company (e.g. what style of clothing does abercrombie make). The manager will usually give you a rundown on some of the policies and what you will do on a day to day basis. You will also be asked questions on how you would describe yourself etc.
Overall it's an easy interview, the sad thing is that abercrombie is a brand name clothing store that goes alot on image.
