I applied online and heard from a recruiter 2 days later. We scheduled a phone screening that lasted 30 minutes. A few days later we scheduled a phone interview to eveluate my skills and that interview was about 30 minutes. Finally there was an in person interview designed for me to get all of my questions answered.

I was lucky enough to have a contact within Accenture who submitted my resume via their employee referral. She was also savvy enough to give her HR Rep, plus several other well place contacts a heads up that my resume was in the system - and also sent them my resume. A hiring manager took interest in my background and I assume that as a result, my resume was pushed through their computerized system

Reason for Declining
The salary was not high enough to warrant the personal sacrifice required to perform at Accenture as an experience hire, the hours I expected and the travel neccesary to succeed in a culture like Accenture.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Through a former collegue of mine, I was able to land an interview with Accenture for a manager position. The initial interview consisted of a phone interview with one of the HR recruiters. This inital interview was primarily a review of my resume and whether or not I had the basic skills for the position. The recuriter was very nice and helpful and described the overall interview process to me in detail. Apparently, I did well. I was scheduled a week later for the skills interview with a Sr. Manager in the section where the position originated. This interview was also conducted via phone and was much more detailed. The purpose seems to focus on whether or not I had the experience for the role and if I would be a good fit for the position. The Sr. Manager was also extremely helpful and knowledible in the subject area. I came away with a positive feeling about the interview even though it was apparent that the role was not specifically suited for me. It's been a little over two weeks and I haven't heard whether a final decision has been made. Regardless, I enjoyed learning about the firm and I appreciate the opportunity to interview and to be considered.

The phone/ technical in-person interviews were typical questions which they ask in a technical role., i.e performance tuning, memory management, scalability, etc... But other than that they made me white board a process modeling to convert a hypothetical manual procedure into an automated workflow. They also made me give a presentation on choosing a typical technology/ product from the pool and reasons behind it.

This was an interview right out of school they came and did a presentation which was followed by first round interviews in person two days later we were told if we should come back for a second round. Both of which were one on one interviews very personality oriented questions. That was followed by a office location visit which included a presentation and two more one on one interviews again questions were behavior oriented.
