Interviewed Aug 2011 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
Applied online, received an email to confirm a time for phone interview. Phone interview was easy, just basic questions and usual information on the company. At the end of the call, a time was confirmed to have 1:1 interview with Senior Manager. That interview lasted about 40 minutes. Thoroughly go through the resume, won't leave till they have completely understood your resume. Probing questions. Usual 'How you managed conflict before...' stuff.
I thought it went well. But anyways. Got a call later in the day that there were ".. more appropriate candidates for the position" and that I feel free to apply for future positions.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Brisbane (Australia) (took 6 weeks)
I applied on the Accenture website for a position in their Technology Graduate Program in Australia, which was pretty straight forward. I was surprised by the efficiency of the Recruitment team. I didn't complete the entire application initially because of a prior engagement, so I saved my application for it to be completed later. I promptly received an email from the Accenture recruitment team within the day to remind me to finish the application, which I did the next day.
I receive an email from an Accenture recruiter about a week later to request for an initial interview, which was scheduled a few days later. The interview was conducted over the phone and lasted for about 20 mins. During the interview, the recruiter asked about my background and some fairly standard interview questions, i.e. why I wanted to join Accenture. One question she did put quite a bit of emphasis on was if I was OK with the frequent travelling associated with the position. I thought the process went pretty smoothly. Apparently the recruiter thought so too, because she said she'd like to put me through to the next round for a face-to-face interview with a Manager-level person from the Accenture office in Brisbane. She said she would schedule the interview, which she expected would be in about a week's time.
About 2 weeks later, I received a phone call from a scheduler with regards to my next interview. Actually, this phone call was a complete surprise because when I first picked up the phone, the lady asked for me in Chinese, which I am fluent with - luckily, stating that she's from a company in Dalian (which I knew is in China). At first, I almost hung up on the poor lady because I simply was not expecting someone from Accenture to phone me and ask for me in Chinese. Fortunately for me, I didn't hang up and the call was completed smoothly after the initial bump.
The second-round interview was scheduled almost 3 weeks after the initial interview, and it was another phone interview with someone from the Melbourne office. The interview was supposed to last for 1 hour, but it went on for about 1.5 hours. The interviewer was friendly without being casual. For about the first 50 mins, the interviewer asked me pretty typical behavioural questions. I was very glad that I had done the preparations on this type of questions beforehand and thought about my past experiences that I could draw from to answer these questions. For the last 30 mins or so, the interviewer answered my questions with regards to the job and working at Accenture. He was pretty elaborate in his replies, which was good because it gave me a better picture of what working at Accenture would be like.
I received the phone call, from the Accenture office in Dalian again, just over two weeks later, to schedule the final interview. It was scheduled for the end of that week, and was a face-to-face interview with a senior executive from the Brisbane office. It was my first such interview so I was nervous before it. The interviewer was again friendly, which helped me to settle down into the interview. Most of the questions he asked were along the same lines as both the previous interviews - some questions about my background and why I wanted to join Accenture. I have to admit that when he asked me about some of Accenture's clients in Australia, my mind drew a blank and I fumbled a bit. He then asked some behavioural questions i.e. "Tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult client”, which I thought I answered pretty well. He then answered some questions that I had. Overall, the interview was pleasant, although I knew I could've done better in some parts.
About 3 days later, I received a phone call from the original recruiter (the same one looked after me throughout my entire application process) to say that they would not be going ahead with an offer. She gave me some feedback from the final interviewer with regards to that interview. Not able to name some of Accenture's clients in Australia rated a mention, as well as my lack of experience outside of the university environment. The first point I understand completely, but it was the second point that I'm still puzzled about. After all, I did apply for a "graduate" position...
The negative outcome aside, the overall application and interview process had been quite smooth. I found the recruitment team from Accenture to be quite efficient and quick with the process, although I still find it very strange that I received calls in another language and from Accenture people from China to schedule interviews when both the interviewers and I were in Australia. I've learnt a lot in this process, especially since it was my first experience at reaching the interview stage(s) of the job application process. The feedback from the interviewers was helpful too.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Sydney (Australia) (took a day)
Intially, HR called for a quick background screen, talk through resume, why Accenture, why P&IP, salary expectations etc. Then I had a phone interview with a Senior Manager based overseas. Following this, I successfully made it to next stage which was a 3 hr interview composed of 3 parts. First part was 3 case studies that the partner himself gave. 1 was market sizing, 1 was profitability and the other was a market entry/strategy case. Secondly, I was given an excel spreadsheet with lots of data and a case along with it. I had 1 hour to analyse the data and answer some questions that the senior manager gave. I then had to make a ppt presentation fr the de-brief and put in key facts about the case. Obviously, I didn't finish as there is a lot of data given. Thirdly, a casual 1:1 chat/behavioral with another senior manager...why consulting, why accenture etc. Pretty gruelling process. I was not given an offer as my case-study responses were not well structured.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Sydney (Australia) (took 3 months)
In my initial interview I was interviewed by a fairly uninspiring fellow - he wanted to get through it as quickly as possible as far as I could tell. This was probably understandable since there were a lot of graduates to get through, but I came out of there kind of confused really - he really seemed to want generic answers to generic questions. I don't think that their training is terribly good in terms of how to do interviews, so expect this interview to vary widely depending on who you are assigned to.
The senior executive interview however was a lot better - by this stage you are meeting with people who are more likely to challenge you - I was asked in depth about my honours thesis and masters projects. This was good, as I had a lot of material to pull from and I tried to focus on the amount of experience in working in groups, and especially in working with competing pressures from multiple interest groups (a total green light to working in the consulting industry I suppose!)
The interviews take place at head office, but clearly the majority of the workforce do not spend much time here, so it was a bit difficult to understand the people or the culture during the hiring process.

Negotiation Details
I didn't negotiate - naivety on my part probably - didn't really get the impression that it was an option though. The one thing I should have known however is that you should go in there with a good knowledge of the business groups and where you would like to fit in. If you don't know or if you say you don't mind, you will end up in the less inspiring areas as they are typically positions which are more difficult to fill - definitely recommend doing thorough research into which stream you want to go into.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Melbourne (Australia) (took 3 weeks)
I already interned at Accenture prior to receiving this offer, so the process was slightly different for me. Given that I interned in SI&T but wanted to get into MCIM, i went through a number of interviews with various members of the MCIM team.
I had an interview with a Senior Mgr from the F&PM team which was a roughly 60 minute interview aimed at a bit of technical competency as well as mainly getting to know you type questions, followed by a catch up with a Senior Executive, which was mainly a getting to know you interview.
If you came straight through off the street, you would have a phone interview (10 mins) followed by possibly an interview with HR or a Manager before getting to the above stage

Interviewed Jun 2007 in Wollongong (Australia) (took 2 days)
The first phone interview asked me about my vision or what I would like to be in the future. They're trying to align my vision with what company wants to achieve in the future.
After that, I got a 1-1 interview, the interviewer asked me about my skills, and also about soft skills.
Last interview was with the senior exec. The interviewer asked me again about what I wanted to achieve and all those hopes in the future
