There seems to be a large disconnect between the recruiters of HR and the Senior managers who conduct the interviews. Each group had different ideals on the core essence of the role and how it related to my skills and experiences. While I enjoyed meeting the managers and initially speaking to HR, there just didn't seem to be a common understanding of the value that I would bring to the firm.

Reason for Declining
The salary negotiation process was non existent. Their lack of interest in negotiating provided insight into the corporate culture... How collaborative is it really? The salary offered didnt commensurate with any research conducted including numbers from glassdoor. I was left feeling cheated and taken advantage of.

I got referred and heard back very quickly. Set up my phone case interview the next day. The case was typical case structure and fun. Last round was face to face with another case interview. Heard back the next week and accepted the offer. Recruiters from Accenture are great; positive, encouraging, and helpful throughout the process

first of all, they showed a presentation in which they told us about the job profile and salary. then, they took an aptitude test where they selected top 40 students for interview. the interview was 1:1 type. first technical & later HR. in the end, they announced the name of the selected candidates.

I was always presented with a case that reflected client work the interviewer had recently worked on. I never had to face anything too quantitative; cases in first, second, and final rounds were all qualitative. Everyone at Accenture seems to enjoy their work and the collegial atmosphere.

They seem to have fast tracked me because the project was ramping up, pretty basic get to know type questions and asking me about skills i learned in college.

I had an initial phone interview with a recruiter which consisted of tell me about yourself questions. The recruiter went through my resume and asked a lot of situational questions. I didn't get the job because I lacked some technical experience required.

The Human Resources staff are inadequate and jump to conclusions about the candidate hastily. They don't pay much attention to your answers, once they've decided on a fact.
