Interviewed Mar 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
Big companies boast of processes, quality, blah, blah, but in reality they hardly adhere to it. I had a very bad experience with Accenture recruitment team. One consulting company which works for Accenture had called me and had taken all the necessary information from me like number of years of experience, current CTC, expected CTC. They had forwarded my cv to accenture and then scheduled for a face to face interview.
When I went to the Accenture office, one HR lady took my first round of interview. I was surprised that HR will be the first round of interview at any place. She asked my expected CTC and asked if it is negotiable. I replied it is not possible to negotiate as I am already holding another offer. Later she asked some usual HR questions like what is the biggest challenge u faced so far, how do handle a crunch situation, blah, blah. I answered all the questions satisfactorily. Then she told me to wait for some time. After some time I was informed that there is compensation mismatch and I can leave.
What is really shocking is before scheduling the interview why cant they check what I had quoted in my expected CTC. It ruined my entire day, as I had travelled long from my place. I also had declined another interview schedule to attend this one. These people dont have any sort of respect for others time. Please consider Accenture only if you have no alternative.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Mumbai (India) (took a day)
Basically was an on campus interview. Went on for 1 hour ( both tech and HR included) . HR was a cakewalk. talked about leadership and then my interests were in soccer , so discussion was primarily based on that. Tech was also manageable. Being from electronics, had a lot of IT questions which were fairly simple. C++ questions were in abundance.
Hiring People were fairly welcoming. Be confident. Brush up on C++ and u shud b through !! They got back within one day with the results.
Interview Questions
basic question. not too difficult. i think it was to multiply 2 nos and store the 3rd number in a different memory location
Reason for Declining

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
I was invited for an interview, with my profile short listed from a job portal. Initially I overlooked that it was a "Walk-in", and after reaching I was astounded with the swarming crowd at that place. They were somehow managing the crowd, most of the people were waiting since morning till the time I reached (afternoon) for at least one round of interview to get over, either HR or Technical. I was interviewed by an HR first, where she asked general questions, like tell me about yourself, why do you want job change, why Accenture and things like that. She also asked me my expectations and notice period.
After this, 1 had to wait for another hour for Technical round. There also, same question was asked, why change in job. After around 10 mins and 3 basic technical questions asked, interviewer said he is done with his questionnaire. This left me astounded, I was in a fix whether I got selected or not. Usually, if interviewer is willing to recruit, he/she will take longer time in analyzing the candidate. Later on, my name was called for handing over the offer letter...!!! I was pretty amazed with the response.
I was not carrying any of the documents, so I left after taking email id of the HR to whom I had to send the documents. Unfortunately, her mail box was full, but I received email from another HR asking for the documents. I sent the document.
Later, one of the HR called me and said that they can offer max 4.69 package..!! My current CTC is 4.3..!! Where is the industry standard ???
HR was trying to convince me with this offer..!!!
I will advise all other candidates to verify before hand what they will offer to avoid frustration and waste of time. I know Accenture does not pay hefty amounts, but this was absolutely ridiculous offer to make and on top of it, HR trying to convince me to switch..!!!
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Unable to meet my expectations.. way beyond in the stretch.. what a hike they offered from 4.3 to 4.69... I can only laugh at them.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Mumbai (India) (took a day)
Received a call to appear for a test after uploading my resume on the portal. On the day of the written test around 20 candidates were shortlisted from the 500 who had come to give the test. Since the number of candidates were less they directly sent each one of us for a technical interview and then an hr interview. Technical interview consisted mostly questions from skills mentioned on your resume and typical hr questions during hr intervies were asked.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took 2 days)
I posted my resume on Accenture website. Then I got a mail with a unique number which will get me to the walkin interview scheduled at Bangalore.
At Bangalore : I had to fill a form. All the relevant documents were submitted. Then there were 2 interviews. First one was, 1 to 1 technical interview regarding java technologies. Second one was HR round. Then they announced the results and said we are selected and the formalities will be done through mails.
We had to send scanned copies of all the educational documents, latest salary slip etc.
Then I got an offer letter through mail.
