I was contacted by a senior recruiter six weeks after applying for the position. The interview process lasted four weeks and included three interviews. 1) Phone Screen - 30 min - Conducted by Senior Recruiter The first interview was conversational. All of the questions were focused on my work/education experiences and what I knew about Accenture's consulting business. I was invited to a second interview at the end of the conversation. Tip: Plan to ask the recruiter some questions to demonstrate your interest. 2) Phone Situational/Behavioral Interview - 45 min - Conducted by HR Interviewer This interview consisted of about five "Tell me about a time when..." questions. Once I described each situation, the interviewer would ask 4-6 probing questions about my decision making process. The interviewer did not ask whether I had any questions following the interview. The next day I was invited to a third and final, in-office interview. 3) Office Visit - 5 hours - Conducted by Recruiter, Consulting Manager, Senior Executive, and Consultants a) Met with three other candidates for the same position. The recruiter coordinated the visit. b) Interviewed for 1 hour by a senior executive (1:1). The interview style was similar to the second interview. c) Interview for 1 hour by a consulting manager (1:1). I was only asked three short questions. For roughly 45 minutes of the interview, I was asking questions. d) Lunch with the other candidates and with some consultants. e) Presentation with general information about working for Accenture. Tip: Ask lots of questions and show your interest. I was extended an offer the following week.
