Interviewed Apr 2012 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
I was overseas candidate for Australia office.
I responded in the end of March. In the middle of April I got phone call from recruiter. Sooner after that I've got invitation to Screen Interview, Skill interview and Behavioral Interview.
Screen interview was quite easy. HR Manager asked me about my credentials, why Accenture, my salary demands and so on. It took about 20-30 minutes.
Skill interview wasn't complicated too. I was interviewed by Manager, although as I understand she din't have experience in my specialty (where I've been working more than 7 years). She asked about my previous projects and another simple questions about SAP functionality. It took about 40-50 minutes.
After one week I was interviewed by HR Manager from Canada. At Behavioral assessment she asked me to give examples from my recent projects at her questions (you can find examples bellow).
it took about 1 hour.
One week later I got an invitation to pass the English test. It took ~1 hour and consisted of 4 parts: grammar (articles, prepositions...), listening (I had to chose one correct answer from four options), reading (1/4) and writing (I could chose one topic out of 3).
After this test I've got reply from HR assistant that she'll contact me as soon as she get feed back from her colleagues.
I haven't got any reply yet, but from my POV it was definitely excellent experience.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 6 months)
Accenture interview process includes : Interview with Recruiter, Technical interview, Behavioral interview, Personal interview either in their office or virtually via a web cam, a background check then the offer.
A recruiter from the company contacted me first asked me about my background, location, explained the interview process & said I would be contacted about the timings and date for the skills interview. A few days later I got scheduled for the skills/technical interview & then for the behavioral after a few months. My personal interview was through a web cam with a Manager after which immediately I got a call with offer.
Be prepared for the behavioral interviews as Accenture gives a lot of importance for the same.
In the personal interview be sure you know about the Accenture Workforce groups & Consulting groups as they would generally ask you where you fit & would like to work in which group. They need to know that you are familiar with their company model so go through their website for all the details that you can find.
The interview process takes months in some cases years, the recruiters usually don't give you feedbacks after the interview unless asked & they are very rude when you ask specific questions. The interviewers were knowledgeable & decent. There is no way you can talk to the Accenture HR since the recruiters don't give you any details about them. To date the most rude recruiters that I have ever come across were with Accenture, they literally force you to decline the offer if you do not make up your mind in day or two.
They offer competitive salaries best in the industry. Background check process is also comparatively faster and better than what most companies do.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took 3 days)
Accenture interview are typically telephonic. 1st round is telephonic and second round of HR. The main problem of interview is, even if a person clears the interview the offer letter will be a nightmare. Most of the people will not even get an offer after 6 months also.

Standard . 1st is the phone screening so the HR lady thinks she didn't mess up and confirms that you know what you're applying for because she has no idea what any of the stuff really means
2nd, someone who might be your boss.. fairly technical, will ask you what you know about it and ask just real generic questions
3rd, 2 people, upper management people, just get a sense that yah, youre someone they want to work with and you're not some nut that may make the company look bad

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 1 week)
I got a call from an HR person asking me questions about my background, how i heard about Accenture and basically what I knew about Accenture. All these questions was to find out what i knew about Accenture and why I wanted to work with Accenture. He also asked me a few quesitons about my day to day activities at work and why I was willing to move from my current job. The interviewer was very cordial and he made me feel comfortable talking with him. Make sure you know alot about the company, and know your skills in and out. Pay attention to the question and be very articulate in giving your answers.

Interviewed Jun 2007 (took 2 weeks)
The job I was applying for was an External/Contractual SAP Consultant.
There were three phone interviews I had to undergo.
The first one was an interview on my SAP skills. It consisted of basic questions that you are expected to know if you are in a particular module of SAP. There were about 4-5 questions asked to check you if you know your trade skill.
The next interview was a soft skills interview. The interviewer will present you with several work-related questions that test your leadership and communication skills by giving "situationers". You are expected to answer them by telling them how you would act in that given situation. There were 4-5 questions for this as well.
The last interview is with the hiring manager. This was mostly small talk--no interview questions here.
