Interviewed Aug 2011 in Sydney (Australia) (took 2 weeks)
Applied online, received an email to confirm a time for phone interview. Phone interview was easy, just basic questions and usual information on the company. At the end of the call, a time was confirmed to have 1:1 interview with Senior Manager. That interview lasted about 40 minutes. Thoroughly go through the resume, won't leave till they have completely understood your resume. Probing questions. Usual 'How you managed conflict before...' stuff.
I thought it went well. But anyways. Got a call later in the day that there were ".. more appropriate candidates for the position" and that I feel free to apply for future positions.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Sydney (Australia) (took a day)
Intially, HR called for a quick background screen, talk through resume, why Accenture, why P&IP, salary expectations etc. Then I had a phone interview with a Senior Manager based overseas. Following this, I successfully made it to next stage which was a 3 hr interview composed of 3 parts. First part was 3 case studies that the partner himself gave. 1 was market sizing, 1 was profitability and the other was a market entry/strategy case. Secondly, I was given an excel spreadsheet with lots of data and a case along with it. I had 1 hour to analyse the data and answer some questions that the senior manager gave. I then had to make a ppt presentation fr the de-brief and put in key facts about the case. Obviously, I didn't finish as there is a lot of data given. Thirdly, a casual 1:1 chat/behavioral with another senior manager...why consulting, why accenture etc. Pretty gruelling process. I was not given an offer as my case-study responses were not well structured.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Sydney (Australia) (took 3 months)
In my initial interview I was interviewed by a fairly uninspiring fellow - he wanted to get through it as quickly as possible as far as I could tell. This was probably understandable since there were a lot of graduates to get through, but I came out of there kind of confused really - he really seemed to want generic answers to generic questions. I don't think that their training is terribly good in terms of how to do interviews, so expect this interview to vary widely depending on who you are assigned to.
The senior executive interview however was a lot better - by this stage you are meeting with people who are more likely to challenge you - I was asked in depth about my honours thesis and masters projects. This was good, as I had a lot of material to pull from and I tried to focus on the amount of experience in working in groups, and especially in working with competing pressures from multiple interest groups (a total green light to working in the consulting industry I suppose!)
The interviews take place at head office, but clearly the majority of the workforce do not spend much time here, so it was a bit difficult to understand the people or the culture during the hiring process.

Negotiation Details
I didn't negotiate - naivety on my part probably - didn't really get the impression that it was an option though. The one thing I should have known however is that you should go in there with a good knowledge of the business groups and where you would like to fit in. If you don't know or if you say you don't mind, you will end up in the less inspiring areas as they are typically positions which are more difficult to fill - definitely recommend doing thorough research into which stream you want to go into.
