Declined Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2010 – Reviewed Feb 13, 2010
Interview Details – Left an application at front desk because I was told they were not hiring. Had a message on the answering machine before I made the fifteen minute drive home. I called back and set an interview date. I was interviewed by the store owner and the store manager. Mainly it was them bragging about their store and how they are better than the competition. The manager was whining about the little everyday things that managers have to put up with.

Reason for Declining – Tthey gave me a low ball offer of 10.00 hour and no guarantee of hours. I told them the offer was really low but if they could promise me some overtime I would try it for a while. They wouldn't guarantee the hours so I did not even call back.It is sad with this economy employers think they can hire you at low wages, they don't know what they missed because I could have added a service they don't have and added a significant increase in their gross sale.
Other Details - I applied in-person and the process took a day.
