Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 1 week)
The interview was very professional and consisted of 4 1:1 interviews with different employees. The questions were very fair and covered a variety of topics including technical background, hobbies, interests, and marketing specific scenarios. I was very pleased with their overall interest in me as a person and how I thought I could contribute to the overall goals of the company.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Broomfield, CO (took 6 days)
This was a horrible experience. The interview process consisted of 6 telephone interviews that lasted about 45 minutes each. I was finally granted a face to ace interview. The email listed the company on the 3 floor. When I arrived to the 3rd floor it was a beautiful suite of empty offices. T walked down the hall to another company and ask the receptionist if she knew where Acxiom was located, She directed me to the send floor. There I saw a handwritten sign with the company name. I looked through the glass panel and the office was almost dark and no one was it the receptionist desk. I rang the door bell and a man let me in and directed me to the manager. This was a little scary, because there was no lights on and at least 20-25 empty cubical s. There where 2 women sitting near the window- (which was the only light in the whole area.) They looked miserable. I meet with the hiring manager after asking me the same questions she asked during the telephone interview. She wanted to schedule another telephone interview! When I returned home I sent the corporate office email stating I was no longer interested in their company. In my opinion, this is a company that should be investigated very careful, before submitting to their time consuming interviewing process. It pretty scary when a company does not use or have proper lighting, cool water or air conditioning.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Little Rock, AR (took 2 weeks)
I initially applied in April, but wasn't contacted until late July. From there, everything happened really quickly. After an phone interview with my would-be manager, I was flown in for a grueling 8-hour interview session with six different people. It was absolutely exhausting. A few days later, I had yet another phone interview with my manager's manager in NYC. I guess that went well, because I was offered the job the next day.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Foster City, CA (took 3 days)
Email from recruiter in Arkansas on a Thursday, spoke with her Friday, setup interview for Monday, Tuesday email reply "not interested." Did they even review my background? The last time I checked companies don't work that fast.
Met with 3 people, all account managers. Pretty laid back interview process. Basic questions, how to deal with time management, being detail oriented, dealing with tight deadlines. The office was fairly new looking, however I waited for over 10 minutes for the receptionist to come back to her desk to check-in.
After reading a lot of the reviews from employees, its difficult to figure out the management structure of the company due to the nature of business. Which comes to mind, what does this company do? Good luck trying to review their website, its like reading a textbook with no real examples to show for. They explained that I would be working with in-house marketing teams from other companies (GAP, AT&T, Intuit?) The associate account manager couldn't even tell me how the consulting department is integrated into the account management process.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Conway, AR (took a day)
Interviewed by multiple groups. The process was interested in work history and ethic, regardless of what profession, and how well you work within teams. Being straight forward and on point made them offer me a position in the Global Client Solutions division. The work environment is nice, and comes with lots of benefits, PDO, and an environment that promotes new technology and cutting edge marketing strategies.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Downers Grove, IL (took a day)
I was contacted by HR through email about possible times for phone interview with the hiring manager for the position. They were very flexible in scheduling the phone interview time and they were able to get the interview in a good time slot for me. The process involved the initial phone interview and then if you were selected you be go for the in office interview. The hiring manager was very detailed about what the job was and what she was looking for which was very refreshing.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
I applied online, and then was contacted by a recruiter who had me answer a questionnaire/pre-screen asking me to rank my skills in certain areas, provide a sample email to the client, and answer a few questions. I received an offer to interview a couple weeks later and then met with the team and had a group interview with two people asking pretty basic questions about my experience and skills. Two days later I had an offer.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Downers Grove, IL (took a day)
3 month contract to hire position. Was interviewed by 5 people. Two were in the room and 3 were on a conference call in Arkansas. Was not an ideal interview scenario since it was very difficult to hear the questions over the speaker phone. Voices were breaking up and garbled. The line of questioning was not consistent with the advertised position desciption and what they were really looking for in a candidate. Also the people on the phone in Arkansas kept muting the phone to have private conversations which was very rude. None of the 3 candidates that were presented by the recruiting firm were selected and the client decided they were upgrading the position to a management role. I feel if the interviewers would have been more prepared and focused more on the candidates experience and the job desciption they advertised for they probably would have been more successful in finding the right person for the job.
